Connecticut River Academy (CRA) is a Vermont/New Hampshire Approved independent school serving a co-ed student population in grades 1-12. CRA is approved for students on IEPs in the areas of EBD, SLD and Other Health Impaired. CRA also serves students on 504 or EST plans, as well as students who are not labeled. Students of varying abilities are appropriate candidates for CRA, including those who are unsuccessful in the traditional educational system, and those at risk of dropping out for social, learning, behavioral, and educational concerns. We are a unique program that assists individuals in creating goals and developing the necessary skills to achieve them. This is accomplished by teaching the student the relationship between what they are learning in the classroom and how it is used in everyday life.Connecticut River Academy is committed to providing instruction so that students become educated, thoughtful individuals who have the ability to be respectful and employable members of society.
